Essential IDS maintenance

Hi,
I have 2 fairly large Informix Database Servers which are in need of urgent maintenance running on HP-UX 11. I have created scripts that run once dailt to prune the DBs but both have over 100 extents at this stage. Could somebody please outline the 'Fisherprice' steps to dropping these extents without loosing the data. Much appreciated.

Hi,
unload the tables mit command
unload to xxx.unl
select * from table

drop table and create table mit first extent and next size

load from xxx.unl
insert into table
