Is it possible to have Auto Attendant with an option to press one for sales department and still have all the extension numbers on the system in 1xx series. Client wants the following message "If you know the extension number please dial it now, or press 1 for sales, 2 for admin, 3 for HR.....up to 8" Can we possibly configure Essential Edition to go to Sales Hunt group after digit 1 is pressed and go to extension 1xx after caller presses 1xx?
 
No. 1 either means sales or extensions, it can't be used to trigger two different actions.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
What I would do with this is have 2 different AA tables. The purpose of the second table is only to allow them to dial by extension.

The recording from the table that answers the call originally (table 1) might be this:
"If you know the extension number of the party you'd like to reach please press * and dial it now, or press 1 for sales, 2 for admin, 3 for HR.....up to 8"


Then, have the * path on table 1 be a "Transfer to AutoAttendant" and send that to AA table number 2.

On table 2 you should not do any recordings, you should click the Direct Dial-by-Number option, and set option 1 to be Dial by Number.

Problem solved.
