Hi,
I am having issues with my ESS which is as follows:
I have CM running 5.1.2 (S8510) and a ESS running 5.2.1 (DL360G7), normally when using 5.2.1 when you configure the survivable processor you have the options to allow H.323 and H.248 registrations but i do not have these options on my 5.1.2 meaning that when my IP Phones and Media Gateways failover to my ESS they cannot register!
I can manually go into the ESS and enable these via the 'cha ip-interface procr' command but as soon as my translations are copied across from the main server this is removed!!
Does anybody know how to do this on a 5.1.2 CM??
We are using PROCR here as we have no G650 cabinets in out environment.
When we have failed over to the ESS (by doing a manual config) it seems that any IP Phones which were logged into any skills could not re-register to the ESS - does this sound familiar to anybody as i do not believet that this is correct?!?
Also, i have configured the CMS to failover to the ESS within the survivable processor form but when the ESS takes over the CMS does not register to the ESS, i believe that when the CMS to registers to ESS PROCR we need to set this form to inherit the config - is this correct??
Any help is appriciated
Thanks
