Any customer out there that has migrate from Avaya Callpilot to Esna officelinx. The sales and demo pitch was good but I want to know what real customers think about this solution. Since we our a school district, I want to gather as much information as possible before presenting the solution to our CFO.

I just issued a PO for this.
We are migrating from CallPilot. We are implementing the high availability version for 400 users just basic messaging but will also implement the speech to text for 50 licenses and auto attendants.
Will try to update as our implementation progresses.

Further update - I have it installed and am in the testing / configuration phase of the project. I would say it is going so-so. I seem to be comparing it to what CallPilot can do when I really should be purging all my callpilot knowledge and approaching the OL installation as something brand new to learn. I am learning it as I go and doing a lot of testing. My original goal was to keep as many of the CallPilot commands the same to minimize the training needed for my end users but this may prove to be too confusing as OL can't completing emulate the full CP TUI.

I would be interested to hear from any members who have also installed it and have it running in production.

Thanks.

I migrated from CP to OL last year (1000 users). I had a vendor come in to do it. It's not as admin friendly as CP. I don't like the UC snap-in. Way too many features to confuse users, too. The TUI they built is about 90% of the CP menu. One of the biggest challenges was to have to change & set location info. Most users do not like the option. It gets the job done, a ton of features (that you'll never use), but it's clunky.

Thanks for your comments. I tend to agree with your comment about it being not as admin friendly as CP. I like the idea of the location features, but realistically it probably won't be used by my users. Would you be able to print out your TUI that you are using and post it? Thanks.

I finally got the approval to install the Esna officelinx solution. I will be implementing the HA solution using Virtual servers along with 50 UC users and mass notification. I will be using the callpilot TUI.

I have OL in production for the past month. I have to agree with you the TUI does not emulate the Call pilot very well. Also OL is very feature rich. This is a major issue having to retraining users before summer break.
