This is what I get when I click on 'Client Permissions' under properties of the public folders. We have Windows server 2003 and client is using XP Pro.

I only get this error when I do the following on the client side. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Does the machine you are running ESM from have Outlook installed?

That is a no-no when it comes to managing PF permissions, amongst other things.

Yes Outlook 2003 is installed. He is part of the IT group so he has to have both...

That is your problem then.

He'll have to use Remote Desktop to get to ESM on the XC server and do it from there.

Outlook will of course only let you manage the permissions on PF's you already have owner rights to, and giving him owner rights to all the PF's would probably be a bad idea. :)

Neill

Yes that's the work around that I told him. Well thanks for your input.
