eServer p5 520 - CD Boot

Hi,

Been away from AIX for a long time. Have been asked to build AIX 5.2 on p5 520. How do I get it to boot from CD. I have an Ascii term cnnected and an see the boot process as it is currently.

Thanks for the post, but I am unable to log on to this server, and need to boot in to standalone mode from CD.

try changing the bootorder in the SMS menu ( press F1 to go into the SMS menu at boottime when you get the SMS-screen)

Thanks to all for your help.

Once in SMS, found the CD was not in the bootlist. Have set it as first device, followed by primary and secondary disks for rootvg.
