When updating a LIM with ESD (SAM3.6)from SP10 to SP11 in BC11 (CNA), the first command which is send by ESD to the MD110 is: FIDII:pATH=//USR1/SES/DR/UPDATE;
This gives an error message.
Probably the command should have been: FIDII:pATH=/SYSN/USR1/SES/DR/UPDATE;

Simular errors are coming after the above mentioned command.

Is this an error in ESD? Is there a way around it?

ANy help for djudjuman ?

my guess is that there's a problem with the IODDP printout
that's one of the first commands that ESD executes.
can you provide us the printout of IODDP; ?

In ESD right click on the site, the select &quot;CNA Packets&quot;, then <name>.cfg The next window that comes up will have three tabs at the top. Select the MMDT/SCSI tab and check the paths specified in there.

I might be barking up the wrong tree, but it might be worth checking.

I can tell you that for the SP10->SP11 upgrade ESD will
cause another problem whilst attempting to load the ELU32 R8A firmware. It is again due to a bad path reference in CNBLI. (The upgrade stalled because of it at the 80% completion mark).
Our answer was to use a Syquis drive and modify the ESD scripts to include the correct path names.
