I have 26 locations setup with their seperate clid entries.
When calls are made form any of thos locations the CLID is sent out correctly
This used to work when we would dial 911.
We recently setup ESA 911
Now when any dials 911 from any of those locations, 911 recieves the clid of our main PRI and not that of the location.
How could I setup ESA to use the CLID of the location ?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

I was doing some reading a it stated that they is a setting in the CDB that has to be set for ESA to use the CLID of the phone.
What waht that setting be?

There is a priority to where it gets its CLID

CLID Table (LD 15 under NET_DATA, CLID :- ESA_HLCL, ESA_INHN, & ESA_APDN)
Dynamic ELIN (LD 117 or EM)
Static ELIN (LD 117 or EM against ERL)
ESA Default (LD 24 or EM in ESA)

BTW you would setup an ERL for each location, if you only want one CLID for the location put a static ELIN against the ERL. If you want to send the PHONE CLID setup in LD 15 under CLID. The ERL can be statically assigned to the Phone, or by Subnet if you have the LIS Package or by an external server if you have the licence. There is an extra prompt ECL this is usually an area in the location (not always used).

If you are having issues it might be worth routing the 911 in normal routing, and put a test number in the ESA. Then setup and test, send it to your mobile so you can look at the clid (and/or use DCH monitor to watch CLID on outgoing setup messages). Once you are happy put 911 into ESA and test, this is worth doing if it is going to take you a while to get it right as you cant make alot of test 911.
