Hi

Does anyone know what the equivalent HP range of switches will be the ERS 3500. I have a client that want to compare pricing between the 2. And I want to make sure I use the correct HP range. I really want to supply the ERS 3500's rather.

Yes we have VoIP in Cape Town

But the ERS 3500 Are Avaya Switches that are designed for IP Office

You want to compare them with HP so ask the HP guys, here they will say : stick to Avaya and the HP guys will say : use HP.
And in my opion it depends of your needs.
These Avaya switches are easy to deploy fot 96xx pones but for 16xx phone which have no LLDP capability these switches have little advantage.
If you go for low price with a reasonable qulity look at Netgear and Vigor, if you need higher quality then Avaya, Cisco (500 series) and HP are a good choice.

However the 3500 series is a very nice switch and agree with intrigrant.... Your reseller will also price match the 3500 against HP and Cisco too.

I am still waiting for one to see how nice it is.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I'm not interested, our Vigors do a fine job without any problem.

Over here there is a action too but somehow it takes ages before one is ordered :)
