ERS 1648: Flash Contents

Hi,
I'm trying to update a passport 1648 but at 55% the router complains of not enough memory.

I would like to know how can I list the flash contents and delete old images or how to free up space to commit the upgrade.

Hi

If you use ERS1648 with firmware 2.x, you can use "dir" to list the files in flash and "rm" to delete the files unnecessary.

I'm currently on release 1.3.0 and I want to upgrade to release 2.1.x.

The dir command does not work

I suggest you follow the instruction of upgrade as the link below and choose automatic upgrade.

After install the intermediary software p16a1310.img, you should upgrade to the pre-boot image file "p16b2100.had". This file's size is only 160KB and "p16b2160.img" is 1.6MB.
ERS1600 has enough flash memory to contain all of them.
