I am using IIS 6 and everything was running fine until I loaded a new website (asp.net 1.1), at first the new site did not work correctly due to a ‘Object reference not set to an instance of an object’ error, I could find a problem with the code and it ran OK when ran from Visual Studio and IIS 5.1 on my Development PC, I left work for the day and when I came back into work the new website was working fine, or so I thought.
Now the same error occurs infrequently and the same error occurs on another web site that has been running for several months without any problems. The problem only happens on pages that use ado.net and after pressing F5 to refresh, the page will load correctly.
Has anyone seen this before and if so how did they manage to get around it?
Thanks
