hey guys! What happens when show this errors?
20534 error detected by database dll
20599 Cannot open SQL Server

OBS: The database is using in the reports, was changed. But the database is similar. I use crystal reports 8. this errors happen in all system reports.

What changes have you made to your database?

Have you Verified the database inside CR Designer?

i change the database. Ex: I took off a database1 and insert in your place a database2. The databases has the same structure. yes, i was verified the new database.

How are you connecting to the database? Are you using ODBC, OLE DB or Crystal native drivers?

You might have go through the Set Location routine for each report.

If you're using ODBC, don't bother verifying the database,
set the ODBC connection to point to this new datasource.

The infamous '20599' database error in Crystal Reports is still not resolved by SeaGate (Crystal Decisions - whatever they call themselves now). This is a problem that has not been adequately addressed for the past several years and it still persists. They have jacked the prices of the products (Crystal Enterprise is now in $K range) and have failed to address development issues. Connecting to the datbases and server should be smooth - those bozos still have the same faulty mechanism.
