So,

I have a report that has a supreport. When I run it in Crystal Developer it works fine. On Infoview it works fine. When I go to schedule it and run it it comes up with the following error:

Error in File X:\MyPath\: Error in formula . '{rptDailySummaryView.Balance} <> 0.00 and ' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind

It only doesn't work when scheduled otherwise it's fine. The Selection Criteria display in InfoView for this report. The Selection Criteria access different data for the master and subreport but are static criteria. No parameters.

UGGGG!!!! Crystal why do you torture me sooooo....

That is odd, oh wait, it's a Thursday, Crystal throws that error on odd number date Thursdays ;)

How are you scheduling it, in CMC or Infoview?

What is the entire contents of that formula? Could you be running a different report (two are loaded on to CE)?

Apply the latest service pack and get back with the above info and this time post your software and it's version.

Ok,

So the "genius that I is" figured it out.

If you schedule a report and then change the filters on the report in Developer but don't on the schedule you may get errorKind. Crystal is smart enough to pull in your criteria but not smart enough to update them if they change.

oh so simple yet oh so deceiving.
