I've been getting the following error messages when I try to save Purchase Item detail entry (Trx > Purchasing > PO Entry , then you need to pull up a PO, highlight an item and then click on the look up icon to bring up the PO Item detail entry form) ...anyone knows why?

"A get/change operation on table 'pref_mrp_sys' failed accessing SQL data"
"Number of results columns doesnt match table definition"
"failed to run file trigger script"

Thank you kindly.

I got this message once. We needed to get the SQL objects for Mfg up to date so they match with the definitions expected in the service pack that I loaded (SP4). There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. You can try rerunning the Perform Special Upgrade in Great Plains Utilities. The other option is to locate the Great Plains install where your Serive Pack was loaded initially. Browse to the folders called Sql - Util - Tasks. This folder should contain the scripts that are run by the Perform Special Upgrade task. The Tasklist.txt shows the order that the individual files are run. You can run these against your company databases in order to ensure that they are up to your Service Pack levels. Actually I just ran the Mfg scripts. That worked for us - but if you can, try in a test environment first.

Are all users getting the error or just you?

Thanks!
