Hi all,

I think this is an easy one but cant figure it out....

I am getting an error on my asp page "object expected." I noticed that there are spaces being created in the href on some of the variables. So I am getting something like:

The %20 should not be there and I think perhaps this is the source of the error message. However, the page loads fine and it seems that everything actually passes correctly.

Why am I getting this %20?

Thank you for your help..

Regards,

MDA

The %20 is the the way the browser encodes spaces so that it cvan handle them correctly. You will often see several other symbols replaced this way so that they can be passed correctly. Generally this shouldn't be a problem as the text is decoded agasin before you try to access it (querystring) or the browser attempts to follow it (URLs).
