Error while archiving folder.

When I attempt to archive my email I get the following error message: Error while while archiving folder "Folder Name" in store Mailbox - My Name". The item is currently being scanned for viruses. Try again in a few moments. A message gets sent to the deleted items with a subject called Archive Log the message above appears in the log. I am using Outlook 2003. My exchange server is version 5.5.

have you disabled your anti-virus software?

Have you thought about upgrading your Exchange server to a supported version?

Yes I have turned off Antivirus software and didn't work.

Yes we are in the process of upgrading to 2010

Workaround: When I enable the "Flag Complete" on each message in a folder that won't archive and then remove the Flag the folder will archive.
