Hi,

we have customized the POPOR01.rpt report of PO module, by adding few PJC tales to get the Contract details in the PO report. It was running fine with Accpac version 5.5A, then we upgrade the system to 5.6A and 6.0A. the report runs fine without requiring any modification or ODBC refresh. but since we have upgraded the Sage Accpac to version 6.2A, the Report is not working. It gives error "Failed to open Database". I have tried to refreshed the ODBC, after that the report prompt for SQL Credentials(after giving the SQL info, the report prints fine.) and it keep on asking every time we run it.
If any one wants to check, u can just need to add PMCONTS table to POPOR01.rpt.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciable.

Thanks
AV

Thanks tuba2007, but the report is heavily customized and as it is printing on the Pre-printed paper, this option is hard to accept. Kindly suggest something in the POPOR01.rpt.

Ditto, you can't add tables to POPOR01.RPT, so either use POPOR04.RPT or use a subreport.
I would use POPOR04.RPT
And start with the 6.2 report!

Thanks all for the information,
I will modify the report as suggested, but the only concern is how the same rpt file is working fine till Accpac version 6.0A. do you think Sage has change something in the report to stop supporting the addition of the tables.

anyways Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, there were major changes in the Crystal runtime engine. FWIW, using DLL/datapipe reports instead of regular database reports has always been a bad idea. Any Sage consultant who tells you otherwise doesn't know what they're doing.
