I'm currently using MS Outlook 2000 on windows 98 ,
Windows XP and Windows 2000. I was having problems with my Exchange server so I got rid of it an left only the internet service. I copied all the messages, contacts etc. to a new set of folders then deleted the exchange service. Everything works fine EXCEPT that when the users try to send an e-mail to more than one recipient at a time outlook gives the following error "No transport provider was availabe for delivery to this recipient". Outlook can not find my mail server. Everything works fine for a single recipient.
Another problem I'm having with one user is that even though the contact is full of entries, when you call it from within a new message it points to an empty contact list When I go into the tools, services, addresing there is only one contact to choose from. How can I make it point to the contact list thats on the folder list which is the one with entries in it.

To get the contacts into the correct location you will need to import them. You cannot specify which contact folder to look into because outlook will automatically default to the profile. If the location has changed then you will need to import those entries. Also check this article. I don't know if it will apply. Hope it helps.

I apologize about the contact information. There is a way to do this. Right click the contacts folder you'd like to show in the address book, select properties, Select the Outlook Address Book Tab, Select the checkbox show this folder as an email address book. -Brad
