When I attempt to select an address (outbound email, calandar entry, etc.) I receive a series of modal forms indicating that the Domino Designer does not contain a required view. Evidently, the address book being used by default is invalid and because of the modal forms, can not be changed to a valid address book. Any thoughts about how to correct this?

Thanks.

Are you selecting an address from a personal address book or a public address book?

Depending on which address book you are selecting from simply replace the design of it with the correct template.

Personal address book template filename is: pernames.ntf
Public address book template filename is: pubnames.ntf

The Template name / filename will appear in the list of templates when you select the 'File - Database - Replace Design' option from the menu.

Make sure before replacing the design you have selected / opened the correct database.

Thanks but this occures when I attempt to lookup an address. For some reason the Mobile Directory Catalog is selected which causes the error. When the error is raised, I receive a number of message boxes followed by the Address Select window closing. If I could somehow select another choice for an address seach, such as my personal address list, I would be fine, but I am not provided the opertunity. Is there a way of changing the default address search to another address list?

Just to clarify, this error occures prior to any address being selected. Merely opening the address window to select an address causes this behavior.

Thanks.
