Error when posting or printing.

Hello all,

I'm new to the site. We have an error on Accounts Receivable 4.2A when trying to post and a dll error when trying to print.

Receipt/Adjustment
Database error (operation=GET-GER, error=2).

We use Pervasive SQL 2000i

What can I do to fix this?

Run a data integrity on AR.

I hope you have a good backup, that's not a good error to see. You may have luck running a Pervasive Rebuild on AR*.DAT.

Btw... I got the error code wrong. It was Database error (operation=GET-GE, error=2)

What do you mean the data integrity did not work? Did it report any errors?

Error 2 is a Pervasive Btrive database error. If you cannot correct please visit

http://www.nssdd.com

as they do database repairs and there is no charge if it cannot be repaired.

Hi all thanks for the suggestions. The error is in the receipt batch list. It also has the error "Database error (operation=LOCATE, error=2)

When doing a dbdump it gives the error GET-NEXT (ec=49153) when it attempts to dump the filename ARTCN.DAT

Hoo boy, that's not good. Can you see an ARTCN.DAT file? If it's missing, you might be able to restore it. If it's there, run a Pervasive rebuild on it. If that fales, you'll have to replace it when an empty copy, and deal with the integrity errors.
