Error when loading YA

[justnetworking]

Can someone help me fix this... Our Mitel guy here cannot seem to fix it and I am not a phone guru, I do networking.
I have already reinstalled YA and no luck.

What is your YA current version ?

The ya version is 3.3.0.71 I have also tried 3.2.0.71 and 3.1.0 and get the same results.

I would remove the SQL/MSDE database and engine and re-install the application.

Personally if it was me, I would start completely fresh and format the HDD and reinstall Windows (server...?) and YA.

If your "Mitel Guy" does not understand how to fix this (in which granted it is not a typical problem in the field) s/he should be calling Mitel support - that's why it's there. They are very quick to come to resolutions.

Thanks for your support....Actually we have several open tickets with Mitel, but we have not had a solution for this.

I have tried your suggestions and the problem still happens. the request with mitel has been out there for about a month or longer. any other ideas?

the pc is an IBM thinkpad T43. We only have 1 pc that actually is functioning. Another pc was working fine for a day or so and then just died with the same error.

I stumbled onto the fix. It was a fix for a different error, but it works on my pc.

C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\Application Data\NewHeights\YA

delete ya.cfg reload app and it works.

Why couldnt anyone tell me this?
