Error when connecting

I've had SQL Server 2000 running for a while and now I would like to start utilizing Analysis Services. I updated to the current Service packs, but I'm getting an error when I try to connect Analysis Services. Can someone help?
How do I fix this problem?

Errors occurred while connecting to (Server Name)
Cannot connect to the repository.

Analysis server: (Server Name)

Error:
Cannot open a database created with a previous version of your application.
Do you still want to register this server?

Sorry I forgot to say,both of the services are on the same computer.

This is usually caused by lack of rights to the OLAPrepository$ share.

1) Make sure the user that your using to manage the Analysis Server is in the OLAP Administrators group

2) Make sure the OLAP Administrators group has Full Control right to the MSOLAPRepository$ share in both the Sharing and Security tabs.
