Hey all, I'm a very novice programmer trying to write a simple program that determines how many gallons of paint I'll need to cover a room. When I compile I get this error, 'The number of digit-replacement positions in the edit word must be from 1 to 30.' Any ideas on what I need to do to my program to fix that? I've only used one edit word field and i entered it as '&&-&&&' its a numeric field. I hope this made sense!

RyGuy27,

That looks more like an edit mask in a display file. Please post the field definition. BTW, it's almost quitting time for me so I might not get back to you until tommorow.
