Hi,
I'm getting the following error when I'm trying to run a report using a Processing Extension: "Error on Processing Extension: Fail to initialize: %1." (The report runs ok without the Processing Extension)

I added the Processing Extension dll via the "Objects Settings" page in the CMC. The dll file is located in: ":\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11\win32_x86\ProcessExt".

Any help on why I'm getting the error is greatly appreciated.

Thx, Feike

I get that exact same message. When anyone has a solution please share.

Thesse,
I did finally get it to work for one of the Process Extensions. Make sure the DLL is in the right folder, then stop and restart all the services to make sure it picks up the DLL.
For my other DLL I'm still getting that same problem, I'm wondering if it is due to an error in the DLL itself. I will post back here if I get that resolved.

Thx.

Feike,

I did finally get it to work. I had a logic error in my DLL. You really do not get descriptive messages when an error occurs. It seems that any error is usually from bad logic in the DLL.

Thanks
