we keep getting this error
unable to find file. (...\system32\ ?Ocurity=impersonation dynamic false,ec=FILE NOT FOUND)
and

any one with any idea would be appreciated

Are you unchecking boxes in the backup tree in order to exclude various files from the backup?

If this is the case, Arcserve loses its ability to dynamically deal with files/directories that are deleted.

To overcome this, you should always be striving to do a full backup (i.e. with all boxes checked). Use the filter option to exclude any particular files or directories.
