Error sending email in OE5.5

I am experiencing problems sending emails from Outlook Express version 5.5.

I keep receiving the following error message.........

An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C0131

Can anyone make any sense out of it?

Thank you for your link.

It worked of course.

I can now send emails at last.

All I need to do now is sort my subfolders back into the main folders. All well I guess its going to be a late night!

No I can't make any sense out of it but every problem I've had with outgoing email from OE has been either Router, Firewall or Antivirus program. Check all of these. I finally had to disable router and firewall and then OE sent email fine.
