Error registering Files

I have moved a project from a windows 2000 pc to a XP PC. now when I install the app..I get an error message saying cannot register SIMPDATA.tlb and MSADO26.tlb

I need those two files in my project.. should I just copy those files from a 2000 PC? or how can I get around this..I looked at MS site and it says theres a bug with "tlb" it should be dll

any help would be appreciated

I am not sure that this will help you but I read a knowledge base article from Microsoft about the use of .tlb files vs. .dll files for the ado. It is best to look in your project references and make sure that your ado library is using the latest .dll file and not a .tlb file. It worked for me but as for the other file that you are having trouble with I am not sure. I hope this helps.
