Error Reading General File 1

Have a client who was working on Peachtree this morning and got a message Error Reading General File form Module 4.

This comes up just as he tries to enter the company he wants to use. The sample companies are working fine.

He has a backup from yesterday, but does not wish to loose 2 hours work.

Any suggestions.

We also have a utility that can fix this problem. Sometimes the problem transaction has to be removed from the data in order to fix it, however. And, you can't enter any new data in your company while your data is being worked on (or you'll have to re-enter it).
