Error - "Event Log Service"

Event Log Service - The system log is full.


This server error appears frequently all of a sudden. I have copied, cleared out and increased the size of the event viewer to no avail.

Any suggestions on how to fix this system log message?

First of all find out what is filling up the eventlog. Might be trivial things such as printing. You can always stop these things writing events to the Event log.

Also you can change the event log setting to Overwrite events as needed. This will start to overwrite the older events once the log reaches its size limit, obviously not good if you want to keep a record of all events.
