We have had similar errors in the past. Our diagnosis is that Info has lost contact with the input and output locations and is trying to map drives.
In our case the solution was that we were running multiple clustered APS's and they where generating too much network traffic thus blocking up the network. Reducing to two APS's only sorted the problem.
As a rule you should never use mapped logical drive pointers to the report templates. R:\ will mean nothing to the service account. Try replacing the file name with the full UNC path to the report
