Error Opening web page in IE 6.02800.1106.xpsp1

Hi,

I was not able open

http://www.microsoft.com

web site from my Internet Exploerer. I don't what is the problem, some websites will open some or not. I am using windows xp sp1 and internet exploere version IE 6.02800.1106.xpsp1.

Please help me out how to fix this problem.

Page not found or balnk screen is coming

remove your winsock keys and reinstall tcp/ip and do a sfc scannow (for xp) sfc (for all others)

I have seen issuews like that often and are usually winsock corruption errors.

Or dns errors click start and run> type: IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

see if that helps.

I tried to IPCONFIG/FLUSHDNS, it's not working. how to remove winsock key and reisnstall tcp/ip. can please give steps i will try this..
