Hi. I am running Windows XP Home edition and every time i boot my computer and log onto a profile, i get the following error message

c:/windows/system32/cmd32 is not a valid win32 application.

I have three profiles on this computer, and the message appears on every one. Does anyone know what this means, or more to the point, to correct it?

cmd32 was made from a virus, not windows. if you want this to go away, open registry edit by going to start >> run: "regedit" with the ""s... find the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

change:
explorer.exe C:\windows\system32\cmd32.exe

back to "explorer.exe" with the ""s.

should work... if not post again, you'll get 10 replys.
Have fun,
Will
