Hello All

Has anyone come across this error before.

E3721 12/03/2007 01:26:23 6276 60 Unable to write to the media as the threshold specified on the system device is hit. (MEDIA=19/08/06 13:00 [S/N: ], EC=FS threshold hit)

This failes the job.

This happens on a staging job.

I believe there is a default threshold setting for FSD's (which is 80% if I remember rightly). This states that the volume where an FSD resides will stop writing data to the FSD once the threshold is reached - in this case 80% of your disk space.

There are then options on what BAB will do at this point - either fail, skip the Staging (assuming its a staging job), and write straight to tape, or what ever else is available.

So, the chances are, you're writing far too much to FSD, or you don't have enough disk space for all your FSD's...

Hope this helps.
Mark ;-)

Well Mr Tordoff

Thank you for your Help. BTW i removed all the data from EX01-doc level and it backed up with success. Now i have over a 1TB of available storage.
