Any assistance with the following will be greatly appreciated:

We get the following error when attempting to open Purchase Order Receipts:
1. Error occurred when opening view PO0710- Source svrDBLink
2. View PO0710 is no a valid View ID - Source DS dsPORCPL
3. Error occurred when activating Sage ERP 300 Data Source - Source DS dsPORCPL

The environment is Windows 8.1 with a clean install of Sage ERP 300 2014 Premium

It appears to be related to this particular database as purchase order receipts works on the SAMINC database.

We have also unloaded and reloaded the error database and get the same error.

Other functionality such as OE and Purchase Entry work ok but invoice entry fails with a PO0424 error similar to the above.

The database is our development database so are happy to apply data related changes to correct the error.

So far, have attempted to clear all of the POR related tables in this error database but error remains.

Hi Etienne,

Thanks for response.

Have reinstalled the ERP 300 2014 twice already with no change. Then tried purchase order receipts using SAMINC from the same computer and it works ok - so it feels like a data related issue.

Hi Etienne,

Yes - we did that as well - and the data integrity check reported an error:

Receipts:
E: Internal error. OpenOneView failed (1388 POINTCKD.C)

I also attempted to record a macro when opening the PO Receipts to see whether it gave any clues but this did not help either.

I really would like to salvage the data if possible!

I have run the RVSpy and it shows an error as follows:

I am not familiar with the log contents but it looks like it is failing opening a view FA0500.

The newly built SAMINC for 2015 does not even contain a table FAOPT.

Any suggestions?

What is FA? Look in version 2012 - click Help, System Information.
If FA is active in 2012 then you need to activate it in 2014.

OK - problem solved - PO Receipts is working.

When I did a clean install of 2014, I did not bother to install Fixed Assets integration as I do not use Fixed Assets, but the 60A database must have had Fixed Assets integration installed. So, I reinstalled 2014 (yet again) and this time included FA - but got the same error (PO0710) until such time as I activated the Fixed Assets Integration.

Thanks all for suggestions etc.
