I have a strange problem with a windows me machine, started getting error msg: can not write to c: drive.
Hard drive was a few years old so i just replaced it with a new one, installed it no problem, loaded windows me back on (oem reinstall cd)no problem.. browse the net and download no problem, try and install a new program from disk or cd PROBLEM error msg: can not write to c: drive
Never have seen this ever except on bad HD, but then all the time not just when i try to install new program.
