Hi - can someone tell me what the below error codes mean please and what causes these errors. They are happening really frequently and causing "hell" on the pbx. thanks.

3752
3799

You can go out to the avaya support page and do a search on this document number, 555-245-102, and then open the doc and do a search for 3752 & 3799.

Without knowing the context of the errors, it is difficult to answer your question. Is this error appearing when you try to execute a command in the SAT? Is this an error listed when you display errors? Is the error attributed to a specific port, extension, board, carrier, etc..?

All this information will help to understand the error. Frequently, an error number is resued between different components. Error 1 on an analog card is not the same as error 1 on a CO card.

Ok, a little more info is needed. When you do a Display Errors, the resulting report should give us some info:

Maintenance Object [Mtce Name]
Alternate Name [Alt Name]
Error Type [Err Type]
Axiliary Data [Aux Data]

If you can provide us with those values, it will go a long way to helping determine what the problem is.

Without that info, I would have to guess that this is an ASAI error. If that is the case, the two errors point to a misconfiguration of an adjunct. Make sure that the features configured on the adjunct are compatible with the switch and that none of your adjuncts are assigned to the same resources on the switch.

hi jedibmc, the mtce name is "asai-ept" nothing for the alt name, the error type is 3753 and 3775 and the aux data is 0. I know that this is related to "overwhelming" the cti link/map d but not sure how we can fix this or what the heck is causing so much issues and what the messages being sent could be apart from the cti link messages that are passed from our dialer.

the err cnt is always 255 and the err rt is around 165 and rt/hr is like 122 when i get hit during my peak hours which brings my dialer and pbx to its knees - i start to get crosscalls and my dialing messes up.

what are the commands that i would need to run on the pbx to see what is programmed on the adjunct and what it is assigned to? an adjunct being the map-d card am i correct? thank you for your help on this.
