Error MEssage -What does it mean?

Any one have any idea what the following error message can indicate?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E21)
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.
/asp/change_profile.asp, line 86

I can post the code if necessary, but basically I'm just trying to update some records in the database.

This error is new to me...

I have noticed that ASP Tends to generate this error if a field name is misspelled.
