Error message TR1901, error in the PPDB layer?

Hello

I am an current user of the Cognos products Transformer (to create the power-cube), Impromtu (where I first make the *.imr file that I converting to my *.iqd file) and Powerplay where I make the reports.

And for a long time there has been no problems, but now it has stopped completely here.

I have an *.mdl file made of two iqd files, and I cant find anything wrong with either of them. The model contains two dimensions based on data from both iqd-files and some measures. After checking the model the only message I get is: “Check model is finished. No problem were found.”

But when I try to generate my cube everything stops in the end of the session and I get this error-message: “(TR1901) There has been an internal error in the PPDB layer. The error code is invalid. In u:\mvxbi\mvx11\prod\divisjon\my_hfabcube.mdc.”

Anyone who can give me a hint of what’s wrong here?

Could be as simple as insufficient resources to complete the task. Could be that the cube is corrupt. What database are you using?

I am using an DB2, and I have tryed to delete the cube before making a new one. But evrytime I'm doing an attempt to make a new cube I get this error-message.

The funny thing is that if I make the cube locally there is no problem.

Hello again,

Now I have found out about this problem. It si the serverversion of Norton Antivirus and Cognos that does not work together. Omehow the antivirsuprogtrram stops the updatineg of the powercube. How and why I dont know.

I have to make my mdc-file localy and then copy it to the server in order to use all my reports.
