I am currently trying to evaluate Access 2010 beta.
When I create a new database or open a database from within the Access application, I have no problem.
But, when I am in Windows Explorer, and I simply double click on the accdb file to open the database, I get an error message that reads:
"The command or action '' isn't available now"
There is no "command" or "action" listed in the error message. There are just empty quotes. If I click on the OK button, the message box closes and it doesn't seem like anything is affected in the database. It is just VERY annoying that any database that I open, I immediately get this error.
I have no code in the database or anything set to occur on startup. It even occurs on a brand new database created with Access 2010.
So, what could be causing this error? Has anyone else come across this problem with 2010 or even 2007 (I am not familiar with 2007 since we are skipping straight from 2003 to 2010)? Is there some global setting that I am missing?
