This error message appears when an attempt is made to open e-mailed crystal reports. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? There is no problem reading the reports in the usual network directory.

If you are using an ODBC datasource, you could try placing the file P2sodbc.dll into the Windows\System directory on the recipient's PC.

Are you using compiled reports?

If so, there is a CRF and an EXE that go with the RPT. They will all have the same name with different extensions. The CRF is called the control file. If you are running compiled reports you need all three files together. Ken Hamady

Thank you both. Yes I am using compiled reports, and yes the EXE CRF and RPT are e-mailed. The part I missed is where the recipient needs to "Open" all three and save to disk or folder, which having been done, double clicking the EXE opens the report. It all makes sense when you see the obvious!

As a matter of interest, is there another way?
