I have an error message that keeps popping up on my screen when I re-boot. It reads that there's a file that's missing called vsdata95.vxd. SYSTEM.INI refers to it, but I don't know where to find it or how to stop the message from popping up. I think it has something to do with when I uninstalled ZoneAlarm from my PC. Does anyone know what I'm writing about??? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

open regedit and do a search for the file and delete it

VLM123 - You are right. It is from Zone Alarm. Dragon99 is correct in saying that you should delete the entry. If, by chance, you can't get the error to go away, then you might re-install and then follow the directions to correctly uninstall. Check this link for uninstall info.

Okay! I will try doing what both you guys suggested and see what happens. Thanks dragon and mudskipper. :)

I looked in the regedit and did a search for the file, deleted the file, and rebooted the computer. The message no longer is showing up. Thanks, dragon99 for the suggestion, and thanks to all others who gave their suggestions, as well. :)
