Here is my dilemma,

Crystal Reports Server XI Trial on Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard with Sql Server 2000. From CRS XI, added report created in CR XI Trial on WinXP client. Able to Preview report from Properties tab and in Infoview. Unable to schedule unmanaged disk to another server. Get following:

Error Message: login error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

I was able to schedule report to the Win2003Server without using a username or a password. As soon as I try to schedule to another server with the correct user and pwd for that server, I get above message from the reportjobserver.

The Unmanaged Disk Destination on all job servers are enabled.

CCM Data Source = BOE11 on Sql Server 2000

Any help appreciated,
Jsr

Hi, Be sure the job server(s) is/are running under an account that has the needed rights to the destination file system location..

Thanks for the response Turkbear. Yes, the job servers are under an account with rights to the destination, so I am told by our Network Admin.

Well, after many trial and errors, I have a solution...
On the Schedule-Destination page, for the User Name I have to put our domain name first and then the user name (i.e. domain.com\UserName).

With our CE9 version, we didn't need the domain name just the user name (although the CE9 is on a different server).

Any thoughts on why this is so.

Thanks!

Hi,
It probably depends on whether the Default domain is 'known' to the server and if the user is in the default domain.
Varies by network setup and probably by product..It is always best ( IMHO) to fully qualify things like usernames and file system locations..
