Error message in alarm dialogue box

In ACT! 6.0 on my computer and a clients, I have noticed that I get an error when I click on " reschedule" or "clear activity" in the reminder alarm box. The error is "The activity is currently being edited, please finish editing and try again", with an OK button that simply takes you back to the alarm. If I click "snooze" or "clear alarm" I am fine. Any ideas?

It simply means that the activity you are trying to work on is already open, you should be able to simply highlight it from the tasklist and right-click to get your options.

That's correct, what version of ACT! are you using and on what operating system?

I would suggest that you contact Best and ACT! support directly, this is not an issue I am familiar with. The alternative would be to seek an ACT! Certified Consultant (ACC)in your area for advice. If you are going to be supporting ACT! regularly, you may also want to check into the program for yourself.

There are many known issues with ACT! 6, which is why I and other ACC's have held off converting our working databases to 6.x. I use it at home, but have stayed with 5.04 at the office and plan to do so until things stabilize a bit more. This sounds like of those issues.
