I have a Windows 2000 workstation that gets the following message when I log in to Novell. win2k sp4 client 4.9.

Your current context is fsc
User: rjoe Context: MIS.fsc
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-100: Access has been denied.
Your current context is fsc
User: rreyes Context: MIS.fsc

You are attached to server UV_TEST.

Script error:
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-600: This utility could not interpret the line.

The original line was:
Start NAL

LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program Z:\nalexpld.exe.

What Im doing here is to run nal when the user logins, I use the same login script for admin user and seems to work.
when I run nal manually as a different user other than admin
I get this error when trying to run an application:

"could not configure workstation for application[winzip.....](id-2)
Problem unable to copy file [\\uv_test\sys\zen Apps\winzip8.1\1.fil. (D018).

any suggestion of what im doing wrong?.

thanks.

1.. Put a ';' before the START NAL line.. I assume that's just a label, but it's causing an error. the ; will remark it out and it won't error

2. where it can't run nalexpld.exe... based on the mappings that show, it's not at Z:\. You need to specify the public folder or get rid of the Z: and let the search drive work.

3. Can't copy files... check the rights for that directory. Or assign the rights needed for that app object.

Marvin,
I tried this but nothing hapens #\\servernames\sys\public\nal.exe
is there another way to start nal?

That's not really a Zenworks problem. It's a login script problem.

Try running it without the path. or use Z:\PUBLIC\NAL.EXE

And why are you trying to run NAL when before you were trying NALEXPLD?
