Hello,

Did anyone seen this?

I have a IP500V2 running 6.0.8 in the error list is shows;

"Too many DSS units in use by system extensions"

They have 20x 9640 with 20x SMB24 connected 1 to each phone.

In the matrix it says that 42 are allowed, and in the help from the manager there is somthing like;

"For IP Office Release 5, the maximum combined number of buttons per system is 1024."

But the are only just over 480 buttons in the system programmed.

Bug???

Does it show as an issue in SSA?

Use system monitor unless of course you are a Tard then it IS the fault of the pbx.

As with all new releases they didn't get it quite right with 6.0.8, I would imagine it's a bug :)

CarGoSki, no didn't check the SSA...:)
Not using the SSA that much, also i don't trust it that much dough. Will have a look at it tomorrow.
Didd have a look in the Sysmon under DSS and the trace but nothing wierd in there that i can see.

Yeah, I think they need to ditch the licence/resource error reporting in SSA as it's fairly evident they can't get it right, not since it's birth in 4.0 has it been accurate enough to be of any use :)

I have a system with the same error. It's a IP500 with 5410 sets and just a few 5420 with EU24. No other known issue.

But this is not one of the false errors in SSA, this is in Manager.

I opened a ticked long ago...

I love SSA, except the license errors.
There is good.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

I have an IP500 with 5420 sets on a DS30. Two sets have an EU24. I've been getting the same error. No system problems, just the annoying error. (shaking my fist in the air)
