Have had a search but cannot anything about the error we are receiving when trying to install SP2 on a server running SBS 2003.

It gets part when through the installation, where it is determining disk space etc. and get the message 'There is not enough space on F: to install Service Pack 2. Setup requires a minimum of 3 additional megabytes of free space.'

F: drive is the cd rom drive in the server, have made an extra 2gb on c: drive of server and this has made no difference.

Found a similar issue with SP1 where there was something missing from the registry to do with drive cache path, have tried that and it made no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas ? All information gratefully received.

Hi Debbie,

Not sure exactly, but can you copy the SP2 I386 folder to a drive/share somewhere, and run it from that (and make sure you have write permissions!)?

Also try changing the drive letter of the CD Drive, and see if the location it moans about follows the CD Drive letter - may not prove much, but might help?
