Error installing iKernel.exe (0xa00) - Symposium Agent 2.3

Symposium TAPI 3.0.0.6 and Symposium Agent 2.3 + SU02 on same server (co-resident)
Windows 2000, Sp4 (Compaq nc6000as) as Symposium Agent Client PC.

When running setup.exe from the directory \\<sa-server>\launcher I get the following error on nnlaunch:

"Error installing iKernel.exe (0xa00)"

Any idea what is wrong?

Answer: Need to have local admin rights on client PC.

Hello,

I have the same configuration and similar problem like you!

The clients are running Windows XP. When we start the setup.exe the message that "The system administrator priviliges are required to download the client files" appears. When we click on OK another window appears but there is just written Failure:. At this point the installation finishes.
We have administrator rights. The user under which we are starting setup.exe is in the Administrator group on client and server too.

Don't you know how to fix it?
