Error in file links

Crystal Reports version 7.0.1.100<br>Using Paradox 7 database and BDE 5.01 and Nativedriver.<br>The reports are running in an Run-time and connected to an Delphi application.<br>The problem is also in Crystal Reports self.<br><br>Have two tables named Employees and Transactions connencted by de field EmpId.<br>Before adding colums to the report it will working OK.<br><br>When I add one or more new Colums to the Table Transactions i get the next problems.<br>When I run the report now and,<br>Option 'Verify on Every Print' is Off, CR will crash.<br>Option 'Verify on Every Print' is On, I get an<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;'Error in File links'<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;'Warning Fields in the report from the file 'transactions' cannot be linked.<br>I can fix the problem by myself by Open the report in CR and run the report.<br>After the Error I go to the 'Visual Linging Expert'.<br>Most off the time the link is still there, so only pressing OK will fix the problem.<br>By some reports I have to Link again the EmpId fields.<br><br>The problem is that these reports are using by more then 100 customers.<br>Not all customers has CR, So too fix the probleem is a lot off work.<br>And the most off them don't no how to used it.<br><br>Can someone suggest me a solution to this problem?<br><br>Thanks
 
Is Empid identical in both of the files you are linking, Ie. is it the same data type and the same length?
 
Thanks for replying, Here some more information.<br><br>In Employees is&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;EmpId a Autoincrement field.<br>In Transaction is EmpId a Long integer field.<br>In Crystal Reports is the link connection from Employees to Transaction.<br><br>The report will still working untill new colums are add to the Table Transactions.<br>A few reports don't have the Link Error problem.<br>Many reports get after adding a Link error, but the link is still there.<br>A few reports lost the link after the Link error.<br>The structure/Link-connection off all these reports are the same.<br>
