hello,

i have a problem with CE. CE8.0 is running on a Windows NT Terminal Server 4 (SP6) and the Informix database 7.3 is installed on a Unix-system.

with the ePortfolio it's possible to view reports with only one table. If the report has more than one table an error encountered (Error database DLL: server.pageserver).

the crinf14.dll-database driver (CR Informix) isn't able to connect to the database - could not load - (error 126 -> test systemproperties/ODBC-datasources). Only the database driver from Informix (Informix3.34) can connect to the database.

Where is the problem ? Why does it work with single-table-reports but not with multi-table-reports ?

Thanks for help

Gunnar

Yes.. I've read this article ...

Issue 1: doesn't match because the database is on HP-UX-System (CE is on WinNT TS 4.0 -System)

Issue 2: yes i've tried this, but it doesn't work. (informix-client-sdk-dll's)

Issue 3: i don't know which domain user account. I've tried the account who has created the report, but it doesn't work.

Issue 4: yes, we are only using non-merant-drivers from the vendor, because the CR-Informix-Driver (CRDB214.DLL) could not be loaded.

Issue 5: ...

I'm wondering because everything works fine even thow the report has only on table ...

Anyway... thank you ...

Gunnar

I had it working perfectly with Informix 7.3 and Crystal Enterprise 8.0. I moved Enterprise to a new Windows box and am getting the error. I remember either a document or their Tech Support asking me to copy some registry settings so that the system account could access.

When I find out I'll update this thread and would appreciate the same if you have a solution.

Thanks!

Hello,

I uninstalled both Crystal Reports 8.5 and Crystal Enterprise 8.0 from my Windows box and cleaned the registry of anything Crystal related. I then rebooted and reinstalled both products under local admin account.

Things now work perfectly with both native connectivity and ODBC driver.

Yeah! I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Jack
