Hi all,

We have a problem with an user that is trying to use the drag&drop funtion from a outlook mail item to an enterprise workspace.

The user has all the permission required but when the user drops the mail in open text it shows an Error Copying File or Folder - The System cannot find the file specified.

If I do the drag and drop the error does not appear.

Any idea of what could be happening?

Hi all,

Also when this user tried to do the drag and drop, sometimes gets an error - Could not find this item. This is no longer located in \\livelinkserver\dav Verify the item's location and try again.

But if I do this same drag&drop with an administratos, there is no error.

Any idea of what could be happening?

Hi Greg,

I already check the permissions and everything is OK.

What do you mean with AV?

Which log file you recommend to evaluate?

Hi Greg,

Our Corporate AV is McAfee 8.7.0.

But I don't think that is a AV issue because from my laptop, I can do the drap&drop without any problem.

Any other suggestion?

There are a few posts in the KC on related issues :

Or you can look in the WebDAV forum -
From your other posts I'd really recommend you doing the Admin course, and others, and getting someone in as several of your issues may be related to each other etc.

Hi Greg,

We are planning to take official training form Open Text.

One of the training that we are considering is is you recommend other one please let me know.

I don't think that is an incompatibility problem between Windows 7 and WebDav, since I am able to do the drag&drop as an administrator.

My guess is that it has to be an authorization issue but and don't know what else to check besides the user&group administration.

Any ideas would be helpful.

The architecture workshop is a great course, but I think you would need to start with the basics :

Admin course -
Troubleshooting -

As for the issue, I'd start with the Thread logs and see if there any WebDAV logs that can be enabled as well.
